AIC Group of Consultants has two entities: one Middle Eastern and one Euro-American.
1. AIC Al-lstishariyoun Consultants (Middle East) Group, (formerly Rajai Khouri - Architect, established in 1970) started as an Architectural and Engineering Design and Supervision Consultancy firm based in Beirut, Lebanon, with branches located throughout the Middle East. Skills and expertise in Construction and Project Management were later added to the scope of services offered. Increasing unrest in Lebanon led to the formation of backup design offices in Jordan in 1975 and London in 1978. An associate design office in Athens was added in 1980.
2. AIC Oxford Consultants (United Kingdom) Group was started with the help of the American firms 'Oxford Consultants' and 'Consul-Inc' when, due to Client demand, the services in London were expanded in 1982 beyond design consultancy. They included Real Estate Development and Acquisition Consultancy services under three subsidiaries that later became consolidated under this single UK based Group. A Project Development and Finance Consultancy was later added to the scope of services offered.
While strengthening the Real-Estate and Project Development activities in Europe and U.S.A., the return to stability in the Levant area has now led AIC to expand and to increase the capacity of the Middle East operation so as to offer the additional knowledge and expertise gained over the last two decades in Europe and the United States. AIC is in the process of opening offices in all areas where development and reconstruction initiatives are under way.
The main offices of AIC are located in Lebanon and the United Kingdom. Other offices of AIC members are located in the USA, Greece, Jordan, Palestine and Oman.
